We are excited to announce a couples-only weekend immersion, hosted by Caroline Corcoran and facilitated by
Tom Compton, into the principles of The Work of Byron Katie. This retreat is ideal for beginners as well as more advanced practitioners of The Work and is intended to support couples with the everyday learning-and-growing opportunities that partnership provides.
Tom Compton
Tom Compton is a Certified Facilitator and Trainer in The Work of Byron Katie, working globally with individuals, groups, and organizations. He's had the privilege of sitting with thousands of people from all walks of Life, applying this simple yet profound process. Tom has had a daily practice in The Work for the last 20 years and has staffed over 25 of Byron Katie's 9-day and 14-day School's since 1999. He works full-time as a facilitator, offering the invitation to discover how The Work can awaken a kind, loving presence within.

It’s a way to understand what’s hurting you, and address the cause of your problems with clarity. In its most basic form, The Work consists of four questions and the turnarounds.

On Communication
Knowing the difference between loving someone and wanting him to do what you want doesn't mean you can't ask for what you want. You can, knowing that his answer has nothing to do with his love for you. You'll discover that asking is much easier when it's free of agendas. And when he realizes that whatever he answers is fine with you, an incredible intimacy occurs.

FAQ
1. Do I need to be in a couple to attend?
Yes, this workshop is specifically for couples.
2. Do I need to attend every session?
Yes, please do your best to be there for every session & communicate with Caroline ahead of time if you are unable to make it.

3. What is the cancellation policy?
Refunds will be offered before Nov 1st, less a $50 processing fee per participant. If we are able to fill your spot your tuition will be refunded, less a $50 processing fee. If you do not send advance notice of your cancellation, if you do not attend, or if you leave the workshop early, your payment is non-refundable and non-transferable.
